The Puez Mid Powertex has a progressive, aesthetic design that gives smooth roll-off and long-lasting versatility and comfort on wild mountain terrain or paved city streets. It has an abrasion-resistant ripstop polyester mid-cut upper reinforced with an external toe cap and all-round protective rubber rand with a waterproof and breathable Powertex membrane.

Its dedicated trekking last, dual EVA midsoles with softer landing heel cushioning and recycled, soft, customizable CFF footbed work with an included Volume Reducer footbed to promote enhanced comfort and a customized fit.

The Puez Mid Powertex has a Pomoca Alpine Trekker outsole for grip and traction in technical terrain. At the heart of its construction built into the insole, the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that runs the entire length of the boot offers a combination of enhanced flex and rebound for long-lasting hiking comfort with specific levels of stiffness and flex at the forefoot, and heel for targeted stiffness, plus increased stability. In addition, the proven Salewa 3F System with Kevlar cables ensures a supportive fit at the ankle and wrapping midfoot stability. This is further enhanced by the climbing lacing that runs right down to the toe.
